Telegram introduced new Telegram polls 2.0 update. Now people can have more control over their surveys. This poll 2.0 includes a total of three updates, Visible votes, Multiple answers, and quiz mode. Let’s understand every change in detail.

Visible Votes

Before this update, we can only create a poll where anyone can vote anonymously. No one can see who voted. But in this update, Telegram overcome from this limitation. Now we can see who voted for what. So, now you can see who is agree or disagree with your query.

The previous feature remains as it as. You can still create anonymous polls.

Multiple Answers

This one is the most exciting new feature of Telegram. Now voters can choose more than one answer for your poll. As a channel or group owner, you must use this kind of function to engage peoples and for feedback also. Just go ahead and hit the door, explore it.

Quiz mode

The last one but not least update from Telegram is quiz mode in polls. Now you can create a survey like a quiz. Users can select an option, and It will display the wrong choice in red color.

Bot API and Quiz Bot

According to the Telegram, All the new poll types are supported in today’s update to their Bot API so that bot developers can build on this new functionality.

Telegram also created a quiz bot, that lets you generate multi-question quizzes and share them with others. You can also add text or media before questions to create exam-style prompts with graphs and tables.

Message Corners

In addition to the new polls, they added the message corners feature. If you find your Telegram messages too hip to be square (or round, depending on your platform), you can tweak the appearance of message bubbles in Settings:

New Android users also can see exact counters when downloading or uploading files. So, have patience and count how many bytes remain to download/upload.
